Neighborhood Partnership at its best

This well-loved neighborhood park, located at 7800 Stella Link, serves as its community's rallying point. Neighborhood leaders have raised more than $500,000 for improvements to the park. Improvements were completed in two phases and include two age-appropriate playgrounds with shade structures, a shade pergola, a refurbished gazebo, a new tennis court, new walking trails, picnic tables and grills, benches, drainage improvements, low decorative fencing and landscaping.
The Houston Parks Board was happy to support such strong neighborhood involvement by helping secure commitments from major foundation grants and overseeing design and construction of the project. This project will serve as the model for all Neighborhood Partnership projects for many years to come.
