Project just starting!
The Houston Parks Board will be working with the Melrose Park community to make improvements around the soccer fields in the center of the park. The preliminary scope of work includes:
- Securing the park with fencing to discourage ATV's from getting onto the soccer fields
- Installing security lights in the parking lot by the soccer fields
- Constructing a trail to promote walking/jogging
- Improving the soccer field playing surface and installing field irrigation
